We've been enjoying some amazing conditions here in the Lake District. At the weekend I was guiding a 3 Peaks Challenge team (on behalf of Advocate Events) on Scafell Pike and even though we set off from Wasdale Head at around 11pm, head torches were not needed at all!!
The moon, or 'super moon' lit the way and turned night into day. A truly beautiful night to be out in the mountains and many were indeed out enjoying Scafell Pike.
